Complete Summit & Lake Experience (3,726 m)
The Mount Rinjani 5 Days 4 Nights Trek is the most complete way to experience Lombok’s iconic volcano.
This itinerary allows you to explore the Rinjani summit (3,726 m), the stunning Segara Anak Lake, natural hot springs, and both crater rims at a comfortable pace.
With extra time to rest and explore, this program offers a more relaxed trekking experience while still reaching the summit and visiting all of Rinjani’s most famous highlights.
Your adventure begins with a free pick-up service from several locations across Lombok including Kuta Lombok, Senggigi, Mataram, Tetebatu, Bangsal Harbor, or the Gili Islands.
Our driver will transfer you to Senaru Village, located on the northern side of Mount Rinjani.
You will stay overnight in a comfortable guesthouse with mountain views, private bathroom, and breakfast included. In the evening, your trekking guide will meet you for a short briefing and equipment check to prepare for the journey ahead.
The day begins with breakfast in Senaru before a short 30–40 minute transfer to Sembalun Village, the starting point of the trek.
After registration at the Rinjani Information Center, the trek begins across the wide savanna plains of Sembalun.
The trail gradually climbs through Pos 1, Pos 2, and Pos 3, where short breaks and lunch are taken along the way.
In the afternoon, the trail becomes steeper as you climb through the famous Seven Hills (Tujuh Bukit) toward Sembalun Crater Rim.
By late afternoon you arrive at Plawangan Sembalun (2,639 m) where camp is set up. Enjoy spectacular views of Segara Anak Lake and Mount Baru Jari before dinner and an early rest.

From the top, enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Lombok, Bali, Sumbawa, and the massive Rinjani caldera below.
After celebrating at the summit, descend back to the crater rim for breakfast before continuing the journey down toward Segara Anak Lake.
In the afternoon, relax at the natural hot springs near the lake, perfect for recovering tired muscles.

The trail is steep and rocky, with some narrow paths and metal ladders assisting the climb in several sections.
As you gain elevation, the view of the turquoise lake becomes even more dramatic.
