This scenic trek begins in Sembalun village and ends in Senaru, giving you the chance to experience all the best highlights of Rinjani: the Sembalun Crater Rim, the summit at 3,726 meters, the serene Lake Segara Anak, and the lush rainforest descent.

7:00 AM: 45-60 min drive to Sembalun Village, register at Rinjani Information Center.
8:00 AM: Start trekking from Sembalun (1,156m).
2-hour trek to Pos 1 (1,300m).
40-minute trek to Pos 2 (1,500m), rest & lunch.
Afternoon: 3-hour steep climb to Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639m).
Evening: Set up camp, witness stunning sunset, enjoy dinner under the stars.

2:30 AM: Wake up, light breakfast.
3:00 AM: Begin challenging summit trek (3,726m).
First 2 hours: Moderate climb.
Final ascent: Steep, loose volcanic scree (slippery but rewarding!).
6:00 AM: Reach the summit for unforgettable sunrise views (Lombok, Bali, Sumbawa, Segara Anak Lake).
Descend to Sembalun Crater Rim (2 hours), breakfast.
Trek down to Segara Anak Lake (3 hours) – swim in natural hot springs (healing mineral waters).
Lunch & dinner by the lake, overnight camping at 2,000m.
