Rinjani Base Camp: Trekking and Camping Equipment Provided

Rinjani Base Camp is dedicated to equipping its clients with high-quality trekking and camping gear to ensure a comfortable and satisfying experience on Mount Rinjani. The following equipment is typically included in their trek programs, with personal items to be prepared by the trekkers themselves.

Provided Camping & Trekking Equipment:

  • Waterproof Camping Tents: The company utilizes Lapuma® & Eiger waterproof tents, featuring “Weatherize Technology” for proven weather protection and comfort in temperate conditions. These tents are designed for fast inflation and deflation, offer strength and firmness through coil construction, and include wider side gussets for enhanced comfort and stability. They are also equipped with a Rayon flocked top for a slip-free surface and an Advanced Double Lock Valve™ for secure air locking.
  • Portable Toilet & Tent: For convenience and privacy in any environment, a portable, easy-to-move, Western-style toilet is provided, complete with a specially designed toilet tent. The system is also easy to flush.

  • Lighting & Communication:

    • Water-resistant electric lanterns are supplied.

    • Guest tents come with battery-operated tent lights (4 AA cell batteries, up to 12 hours of light) with on/off switches.

    • Walkie-talkie 2-way radios (up to 5-mile range) are provided for communication in isolated areas.

    • Coleman sleeping bags are used to offer protection against cold weather at high altitudes.
